VALERIA LORITO
(ITA) Nasce in Sicilia (1967), cresce e studia a Milano, si laurea in Economia all'universitá Bocconi e dedica 25 anni al mondo del Marketing. Lavora in Italia, Francia, Spagna, Svezia e Portogallo in contesti dinamici e creativi legati alla comunicazone visiva, spaziando dal food ai profumi, dal fashion all’interior design.
Parallelamente alla sua attività professionale, coltiva da sempre una passione per la pittura astratta materica e nel corso degli anni sente la necessitá di creare la sua arte, fruendo anche delle contaminazioni acquisite dall’interazione con altri artisti nei paesi in cui ha vissuto. Molte delle sue opere sono state prodotte per amanti d'arte a livello internazionale.
Una delle sue fonti di ispirazione è la bellezza astratta nascosta nel movimento degli elementi naturali sulla terra (mare ed uragani, sabbia e deserti, ghiaccio e disgelo, stratificazioni rocciose, lava vulcanica, raggi di luce...) ed il fascino misterioso della continua evoluzione.
Nelle sue opere l’artista sintetizza a colpi di pennello e di spatola, la sua relazione con la forza della natura, in un’alternanza di equilibri e disequilibri di luci, forme, materiali e textures 3D. La realtá e l’astrattezza si fondono in un gioco di colori che con il bianco ed il nero si rincorrono in un’incessante espressione di movimento, esprimendo ora energia e passione, ora pace, quiete, silenzio.
La sua essenza creativa la porta a sperimentare sempre nuove frontiere artistiche, dove l’elemento “materia” rimane il cardine della sua esplorazione ed il cromatismo esprime la sua visione cangiante della realtà.
(ENG) She was born in Sicily (1967), grew up and studied in Milan, graduated in Economics from Bocconi University and dedicated 25 years to the world of Marketing. She has worked in Italy, France, Spain, Sweden and Portugal in dynamic and creative contexts related to visual communication, ranging from food to perfumes, from fashion to interior design.
Parallel to her professional activity, she has always cultivated a passion for abstract material painting and feels the need to express herself by creating her art, also benefiting from the contaminations acquired from the interaction with other artists in the countries where she has lived. Many of hers works have been produced for international art lovers.
One of her major sources of inspiration is the abstract beauty hidden in the movement of natural elements on earth (sea and hurricanes, sand and deserts, ice and thaw, rock stratifications, volcanic lava…) and the fascinating mystery of the never ending evolution.
In her works the artist synthesizes, with strokes of brush and spatula, the deep interaction of herself in front of the force of nature, in an alternation of balances and imbalances of lights, shapes, materials and 3D textures. Reality and abstractness merge in a game of colors that with black and white chase each other in an incessant expression of movement, either expressing energy and passion, or peace, quiet, silence.
Her creative essence leads her to always experiment with new artistic frontiers, where the "material" element remains the cornerstone of her exploration and the chromaticism expresses her iridescent vision of reality.
